Selling luxury homes to stakeholder in Fashion - House&Loft Case

When House & Loft, a Luxury Real Estate company I used to work as Marketing Manager had to deal with a pricing collapse of Real Estate assets in Milan in 2013, the first priority was to cut costs while keeping a high standard of quality.

At that time, a professional photo shooting for a 300sq.mts + home was priced for about 1000 euro. You can imagine the expense we would have needed to support with a portfolio of 50+ homes. Some of them were even 1000 sq. mts+ so the shootings would have been even more expensive.

At that time I came out with a proposal: why not offering those locations to fashion photographers for their fashion shootings, in exchange for Real Estate photos?

Listings with this offer were put in the forums and website of models, photographers and other stakeholders of the fashion industry.
At first someone thought it was a scam but later on, with trust and communication, House&Loft was able to agreed on multiple shootings.

The outcomes were extraordinary: not only House&Loft had new photos (for free) but also out beautiful homes were now published on international magazines and they were becoming well-known in the Fashion circle.

Thanks to this, we were able to secure more deals and improve our shootings quality, without further investments.
